Average Joe Patriot

I'm just an average Joe who has read the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Federalist Papers, and most importantly the Bible. Our Greatest Nation began with these documents as our guide. Please educate yourselves by reading them before believing anything that comes out of a politician’s mouth.

With the current gross abuses from our leadership in Washington, I want to share with you what I see as I see it. These abuses have been increasing as we have traveled down the road of history. Without refocusing our goals through the lens of our founding principles, we will surely loose our way.

Make no mistake, a take the side of the American People and the principles which make this country great. I don’t care about partisan politics, fluffy rhetoric to mask the lies from self-serving elitists who have lost their higher calling.

Please do not idly sit by and watch the destruction of our Greatest Nation which has inspired freedom in the midst of darkness for over two centuries. We can have real change, with real results. But it starts with you, the American People who collectively share the legacy of having giving more for our fellow man than any other country in our worlds history.

Biden swings at Scott Brown…and hits the wall

Erick Brockway wrote this great post.....
Will the LSM call it “Another Biden gaffe”?
I think I’ll just call it uninformed, ignorant, and stupid.
Sheriff Joe was on “Faze the Nation” Sunday and tossed a dart at the new MA Senator;
Responding on CBS’s “Face the Nation” to Brown’s comments that the United States should be spending money catching terrorists, not spending money to give them a lawyer, Biden said, “I don’t know whether the new senator from Massachusetts understands: When you get tried in a military tribunal, you get a lawyer too.”
Scott Brown was referring to what it would cost to pay lawyers for terrorists in civil trials vs. lawyers that are already on the U.S. payroll in military tribunals.
I’m pretty sure Scott Brown is familiar with military legal procedure, as even a quick check of Wikipedia (when it’s not defaced) could have told the good Sheriff. Brown made sure to remind Biden;
“He’s trying to give me a lesson on military law, and I didn’t think it was appropriate,” Brown told POLITICO. “And I thought he was off base when it comes to explaining to the American people that somehow I need a lesson on whether people get attorneys — of course they get attorneys. There’s a difference as to what type of attorney they’re going to get and when they’re going to get that attorney, and how are they treated, and what rights do they in fact get.”
Brown said he is particularly incensed by Biden’s remarks because he’s served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard for more than 30 years and is currently the Guard’s top defense attorney in New England.
“I know the military rules and regulations and procedures from A to Z,” Brown said.
Yeah, swing and a miss there,  Joe. Again.

  1. Well, then, discharge the ones "already on US payroll" to help reduce the military's budget! I'm sure that they can find good work in the private sector.
    Why do people tolerate our representatives arguing about pennies while they ignore the dollars? Our budget is immense. Arguing about comparatively small costs is a sleight of hand used to distract us all from the larger matters.
